Embracing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Seeking to Grow in Faith, Hope and Love:

The Lord is Risen!

Keep On Keeping On.

Let Your Light Shine.

 Jesus is Victor

We believe Jesus, a First Century Jew, God's Son, Servant and promised Messiah,

Died on a cross in the ultimate battle with demonic powers of evil, sin and death.

We believe Love won this victory over death as God raised Jesus from the tomb.

Our Bible-based faith in God rests on the sure foundation of Jesus' resurrection.

We believe Jesus is reigning now, through the Holy Spirit, in lives of all who trust him.

Who keep on keeping on with unwavering hope as God's kingdom comes on earth.

We believe God's kingdom comes through the Spirit leading all who do God's will;

And we pray, "Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as in heaven."

We believe God gives faith and hope to empower our sharing the greater gift of love.

Jesus shows us that God draws the circle of love wide and desires all be included.

We believe we are sinners saved by grace, the love of Jesus shinning through us.

Nuturing faith, hope and love, we aim to do our best and leave the rest to God.

The Serenity Prayer expresses our need to let go and let God!

God, Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The Courage to change the things I can,

And the Wisdom to know the difference.

This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine...Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine!

Now faith, hope, love, abide these three.... I Corinthians 13:13

The Prayer of St. Francis and the United Church of Christ Statement of Faith are expressions of our faith in the Triune God and God's unconditional love!

The Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, Make me instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope

where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,

grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love;

for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

The United Church of Christ Statement of Faith

We believe in you, O God, Eternal Spirit, God of our Savior Jesus Christ and our God,

And to your deeds we testify:

You call the worlds into being, create persons in your own image,

And set before each one the ways of life and death.

You seek in holy love to save all people from aimlessness and sin.

You judge people and nations by your righteous will declared through prophets and apostles.

In Jesus Christ, the man of Nazareth, our crucified and risen Savior,

You have come to us and shared our common lot,

Conquering sin and death and reconciling the world to yourself.

You bestow upon us your Holy Spirit, creating and renewing the church of Jesus Christ,

Binding in covenant faithful people of all ages, tongues and races.

You call us into your church to accept the cost and joy of discipleship,

To be your servants in the service of others,

To proclaim the gospel to all the world and resist the powers of evil,

To share in Christ's baptism and eat at his table, to join him in his passion and victory.

You promise to all who trust you forgiveness of sin and fullness of grace,

Courage in the struggle for justice and peace, your presence in trial and rejoicing,

And eternal life in your realm which has no end.

Blessing and honor, glory and power be unto you. Amen.
